Proton X90

The X90, based on the Geely Haoyue (also known as the Okavango in select markets), is available in four variants with two seating configurations. Three variants, namely Standard, Executive, and Premium, offer a seven-seater configuration with a 2-3-2 seat arrangement, including a bench middle-row. The fourth variant, known as the Flagship, features a six-seat layout with a 2-2-2 configuration, offering second-row captain seats as a unique feature.

Proton X90 Model Details

The X90 lineup consists of various variants, all equipped with a 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbocharged GDI engine similar to the one used in the newer X50 Flagship and X70 models. However, in the X90, the engine incorporates a belt-starter generator (BSG) 48V mild-hybrid system. 

This hybrid system enhances the power output to 190 PS and torque to 300 Nm, surpassing the non-hybrid version's figures of 177 PS and 255 Nm. The engine is mated to a familiar seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission provided by the automaker.

The X90 has a 12.3-inch LCD infotainment system touchscreen featuring a display resolution of 1920 x 720 pixels. It offers ample memory with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. 

The SUV ensures optimal comfort with dual-zone air-conditioning and independent rear AC, while every row is equipped with dedicated air vents for efficient airflow. 

To cater to the charging needs of mobile devices, the X90 provides an abundance of options, including a total of seven USB connections. Additionally, higher-end variants offer the convenience of wireless charging capabilities.

The Proton X90 comes equipped with:
